“We need courage, knowledge, action and character!”
This song was inspired by two stories. One story is from a friend of Áron who works with children. He told us that many of these children want to become soldiers and policemen to protect their parents from migrants. The other is when a 14-year-old African-American girl was shouted off a bus by a man and no one came to her aid. Alone, we are few, but by working together as a collective we can create fantastic transformations.
Our song “Come together!” was written as a rousing anthem. We are surrounded by fear and hatred, but what we cannot forget is that critical thinking, love, knowledge and action are more powerful than the dark side of POWER. Many times these thoughts may seem naive, but instead of naivety we like to use the word optimistic. And we know that pessimistic people are often right, but optimistic people change the world. Áron Molnár’s musical world was influenced by the band Fekete Vonat, of which Mohamed Fatima was one of the members. It was a dream come true when Fatima sang the chorus. We met an incredibly open, kind and good-hearted person. The music was composed by the composer Péter Furák, who also composed the melody of the chorus.
